Halo 5 teasers could appear in next Halo: Escalation comic

Halo: Escalation's next issue may yield some new insight into what Master Chief will be getting up to in Halo 5. It's possibly a long shot, but it seems like the events that take place after Halo 4 are going to be getting some degree of clarity soon.

It follows 343 Industries debunking these supposedly leaked Halo 5 screens. They were total bollocks basically.

Comic Book Resources has noted that the eighth Halo: Escalation - penned by Brian Reed - will explore the reasons why Master Chief left the UNSC Infinity.

A blurb from the current issue teases, "The Master Chief returns in "The Next 72 Hours: Part 1"! After defeating the Didact, John-117 joined the crew of Infinity . . . but why did he leave? The mystery begins here."

This particular issue will release July 23 which, of course, is after E3 2014. Could we know more about Halo 5 by then? We'll know in due time.
