Half-Life on Evil Dead director's radar

Evil Dead remake director Fede Alvarez is keen to tckle the adventures of Gordon Freeman, according to a Yahoo Movies report. “I really want to make a Half-Life movie at some point – but I’d heard it was impossible because Spielberg wanted to make it. That’s definitely one that I’ve always dreamed of making into a movie though," the Panic Attack creator said. It looks like JJ Abrams has pipped him at the post, though.
