Guilty Gear Strive coming to PS4, PS5 and PC in April 2021

Developer Arc System Works has confirmed that Guilty Gear Strive is launching for PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam on April 9, 2021.

Originally, the game was due to release in late 2020, but the title was pushed back into 2021 thanks to development issues arising as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

If you're super eager to get your hands on the game, you will be able to play three days early (on April 6) if you pick up the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions of the title.

Speaking of which, the Deluxe Edition will come with a Season Pass, which will add an extra five characters, two stages, and an "extra story" to the game.

The Ultimate Edition includes the Season Pass, the game's soundtrack (ArcSys OSTs are always incredible), and bonus colours for your fighters.

If you're not suitably excited about the game yet, the studio also revealed a new character in a livestream this weekend – Giovanna. You can take a look at her trailer above.

If you want to look over all the characters announced for the game so far, you can see a full overview on our Guilty Gear Strive Characters page.
