Guild Wars 2 Fractured update arrives today

Guild Wars 2 fans benefit from a stack of new content today with the arrival of the Fractured update, which includes time travel and challenges for the most daring of combatants.

The update's name, Fractured, refers to the fact that it brings with it a new fractal enabling players to explore events from the past. Thanks to the research efforts of Ellen Kiel, you'll be able to pass through the mists to the Thaumanova Reactor meltdown.

There are a further two fractals and two boss fractals, as well, and the battle in the Tower of Nightmare is ongoing, with new Fractal rewards on offer. ArenaNet has also added leaderboards for Fractals events.
