Guild Wars 2 China release confirmed

Guild Wars 2 is heading to China, courtesy of developer ArenaNet and KongZhong Corporation, in what is one of the largest western licensing deals in the country.

Massively reports that ArenaNet's founder Mark O'Brien announced the deal, and reiterated his company's aim to capture a truly global audience.

KongZhong CEO Wang Lei added, "I believe Chinese game players will be impressed by Guild Wars 2 unique gameplay which will bring truly epic, cooperative gameplay back to the MMORPG genre."

Meanwhile, ArenaNet has recently banned up to 3,000 players exploiting a trader loophole. Check out the details here.
