GTA Online: Rockstar teases new "massive", "feature-rich" updates for release in 2016

Rockstar has shared a few details about some of what's coming to GTA Online during 2016. The studio said that the months ahead will bring "massive, feature-rich" updates.

An upcoming update will follow up on the Executives and Other Criminals update by adding contraband trafficking. New properties will be added as part of the update, some of which can serve as HQs and warehouses. At the HQ, and new option will allow you to manage inventory, as well as arrange for buying and selling of the contraband.

These will range from jewels to narcotics to medical supplies. The description doesn't flesh out the gameplay part of the update, but it does hint at a base-defence style mechanic where others can raid your warehouses between shipments.

For stunts fans, the developer is readying a major update that introduces new stunt-ready vehicles and gear, in addition expanding the Creator with a new set of props.

More Adversary Modes are also planned, and the recently released In and Out will be getting new locations. Similarly, bonus RP and GTA$ weekends will continue.
