The new GTA Online Diamond Casino Heist Update has another addition besides a new place to rob. There's a new criminal in town, a serial killer who's left clues you can use to find him and his unique Navy Revolver. We'll show you where to find them all, and how to deal with the killer himself.

How to Get the Navy Revolver

The Navy Revolver belongs to the killer himself, so the only way to get it is, in fact, to kill him back. However, the killer is in hiding, and will have to be lured out. To do so, you'll have to find the five clues he's left behind, annoying him enough to attack you. The moment you're ready to go kill a killer, just start looking for any of those clues.

Where Are the Serial Killer Clues?

As mentioned, there are five clues in total: a machete, a severed hand, a piece of writing, a bloody handprint, and a black van. Aside from the van, all of them have set locations in the world, and therefore aren't difficult to find if you know what you're doing. The van, however, can be in any one of five locations, which we'll outline below.

You'll know when you're close to a clue (all of which are North of the city in Blaine County) because there'll be the faint sound of ominous whispering, your controller beginning to rumble when you're really close. Use these to home in on them as much as possible. Eventually, when you're close enough to touch it, you'll get a prompt telling you to press right on the D-Pad to collect the clue.

Clue 1 Location: The Machete

You don't have to find the clues in any particular order, so don't worry about finding them in the order we've presented. The first clue, a bloody machete, is buried in the door of a barn in Grapewood.

Clue 2 Location: The Severed Hand

The second clue, a severed hand, is in the ditch next to the Sandy Shores airport runway, lying between a bag of trash and an old tire.

Clue 3 Location: The Killer's Message

The third clue is a taunting message chalked on a building wall, near a gang fight area in Great Chaparral. It's a little easier to find at night when the light is shining on it, but it shouldn't be too hard either way.

Clue 4 Location: The Bloody Handprint

The fourth clue, a bloody handprint on a shed door, is situated in a motel parking lot in the North-West of the map, in the Paleto Forest.

Clue 5 Location: The Black Van

As mentioned, the van is the hardest to find, and so we recommend searching for it last when you can focus on it. Despite being the most obvious clue (a large black van with the back doors open, revealing a load of bloody carnage), there's actually five different locations that it could be in, usually tucked away to the side or behind other objects and landmarks. If you have a flying vehicle, check from the sky for a quick sweep of the area.

Once you've found the van, approach the open doors at the back and press right on the D-pad when prompted to get the final clue.

Where to Find the Serial Killer and Get the Navy Revolver

Ok, now things are about to get bloody. After finding the final clue, you'll get a threatening text from an unknown number. You probably don't need to guess who that is.

This basically means that the slasher is after you, but he won't show up immediately. The game doesn't tell you this, but he'll appear to attack at any point after 7:00 at night, and before 5:00 in the morning. He'll also only attack you if you're in Blaine County, in the desert North of Los Santos. He's not too difficult to kill, but just in case, get your health to full and wear some body armor if you have any. He has a habit of teleporting into the area just behind you, but if you really want to be sure, find an open space to fight in and have a shotgun equipped.

He'll attack you with a machete, and if you're at full health, he shouldn't kill you on the first strike. Just unload into him with the most powerful weapon you have, and he'll go down like any other NPC enemy. Congratulations! For killing him you'll get the Navy Revolver in your arsenal, as well as $50,000 to spend however you want. You'll also unlock a new challenge for even bigger rewards.

How to Complete the Navy Revolver Challenge and Unlock the Navy Revolver in Red Dead Online

To unlock the gun in Red Dead Online, you'll have to complete a simple challenge - use the Navy Revolver to get 50 headshots in GTA Online. No, the game doesn't distinguish between heads, so you could try and wrack up some semi-moral kills in gang fights, try and target other players, or just show the Los Santos Slasher how a murderer REALLY works and wander down the street, blowing the tops off civilians and cops alike. However you do it, eventually you'll wrack up the numbers and fulfil the challenge. You'll get another $200,000 in GTA Online, and unlock the Navy Revolver as a discoverable item in Red Dead Online, presuming you have both games linked to the same Rockstar Social account.

You can just buy the gun from any gun store, but why would you do that after all this work? What you want to do is head to Valentine, or more specifically, head to the little ruined building to the West-South-West of Valentine. Go inside to the basement to see all manner of hideous carnage, but you'll find the Navy Revolver in the midst of it all.
