GTA Online gets new American Football-themed Adversary mode

The GTA Online Adversary mode collection will be expanded today when Running Back joins the fold.

Running Back is a new Adversary mode coming to GTA Online today. The mode will be a permanent edition on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

It's called Running Back, and Rockstar revealed it's themed around American Football and features two teams of up to four players each. The teams start at opposite sides of a road, and a Runner car tries to get across the end zone line at the far end of it.

The runner car is Benefactor Panto with teammates occupying the BF Biftas. The deafening team also uses Biftas and tries to block the runner using any means necessary. Three maps based in three different locations will be available; Raton Canyon Bridge, La Mesa Bridgem and Zancudo Tunnel.

In addition, Rockstar will host a livestream today at 5pm ET on YouTube and Twitch to showcase the mode, as well as other recent additions to Adversary.
