Lindsay Lohan sued us for attention, says Rockstar

GTA 5 does not include a parody of Lindsay Lohan, and the star is only suing Rockstar for the attention, according to Take Two's lawyers.

GTA 5 contains a character called Lacey Jonas who bears a passing resemblance to Lohan, and who features in a series of missions that some have argued parody events in her life.

We'll leave the truth of the matter up to your judgment, but Rockstar's stance is that the character is completely fictitious. That hasn't prevented Lohan from suing the publisher and parent Take Two, of course.

According to court papers, as reported by Big Story, Take Two's lawyers have argued that Lohan's suit has no merit, and was "filed for publicity purposes" - to get attention, in other words.

Take Two says the character in question only resembles Lohan in being a young, blond woman, and has moved to dismiss, asking for reparations to cover its legal costs.
