GT Academy EU to kick off on March 4

Sony's just announced details of this year's GT Academy, which will kick off on March 4 in Europe.

The publisher will hold the contest, which has been running since 2009, to find a driver and train them to become a real-life racer using Gran Turismo 5.

A time trial for this year's event will go live on the Seasonal Events page in GT5 on March 4, and will run until April 17.

The US also has its own GT Academy ongoing, but has recently suffered some problems with cheaters.
