GRID 2: £125,000 Mono Edition comes with an actual car

GRID 2 developer Codemasters has unveiled a one-off 'Mono Edition' for its incoming racer. It costs £125,000, includes a copy of the game and, well, an actual honest-to-god car.

Here's the car, a road-worthy BAC-Mono. Imagine driving this out of your local GAME store:

The beast can his 170MPH, and it comes with full race gear. A press release from Codemasters tells us that the car was created from, "high-strength carbon fibre," and that the, "BAC Mono is an unrivalled example of light-weight performance engineering and its 2.3 litre, 280 bhp four cylinder power plant will propel its driver from 0-60 m.p.h. in just 2.8 seconds".

I know bugger all about cars.

It also comes with a copy of GRID 2 on PS3 with unique one-of-a-kind pack art, a BAC Mono livery for the game, a day trip to the BAC factory, a GRID 2: Mono Edition race helmet, a full race suit and a PS3 console.

So, who's buying this then, and if you plan on doing so, fancy lending us a tenner?

GRID 2 is out on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 from May 28 across North America, and across Europe from May 31.
