Greeks get uppity about lack of Live

They have a point. This site claims Microsoft is allowing Greek gamers to sign for online memberships with credit cards despite Greece not being "included in the Xbox Live online service map".

"It is commonly known that in 2006 the Microsoft's next generation gaming console was launched internationally (including Greece)," says the teary rant. "Currently, the Xbox 360 console sells more in Greece than any other console. Unfortunately, most people are not aware of the fact that Greece is not included in the Xbox Live online service map resulting in gamers not being able to exploit the console to its capacity. Despite the fact that Microsoft never attempted to install any Greek XboxLive servers nor sells peripherals like MS Points and Membership Cards, they DO accept Greek credit cards for online memberships. They limit or even ban products (themes, arcade games, demos etc.) that users from all over the world can download. All but Greek ones."

Blimey. There's a petition on there, should you wish to add you name in support of our Greek brothers. Have a bloody heart, Microsoft. Without the Greeks we'd all be picking fleas off each other and eating mud. They only want to play Burnout Paradise like the rest of the civilised world.
