Grave: indie horror title confirmed for Xbox One as Kickstarter nears end - trailer

Grave is the indie horror title from Broken Window Studios. It's just been confirmed for an Xbox One launch in 2015, alongside PC, Mac and Linux. If this month's gameplay trailer is anything to go by, it's going to be one hell of a creepy experience.

Over on Grave Kickstarter, Broken Window confirmed that anyone backing the project at the $25 tier or above will get an Xbox One copy if it meets the team's $30,000 goal. There are four days of funding left and the campaign's currently sitting at $23,031.

The studio calls Grave an, "open-world, surrealist-inspired, procedural survival horror experience," that features a light-based combat mechanic. Examples given include throwing down a flashbang or igniting a puddle of gasoline to attack enemies with light.

Grave's world will change with each passing night, and potential areas shown include a ravaged metropolis and a forest. Each day will bring more enemies, forcing you to react and defend yourself. It sounds quite unrelenting.

We'll have more on Grave soon. Stay tuned.
