Gran Turismo 6 wants to know about your first racing love

Gran Turismo 6 is the centre of a couple of documentaries and a social promotion all about what inspired racing fans at the beginning of their obsession - like Mario Andretti's first 1948 Hudson.

As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, Andretti's love affair with cars began when he bought the beat-up shell of a 1948 Hudson. He and his friends built it up into a race-ready vehicle in two years, and the rest is history - a storied career in Indy, Daytona, and Formula 1.

To share more about Andretti's story, Sony has put together a series of three documentary episodes, which will be released via a dedicated website. The site also invites you to share your own first love story.

GT6 is due on December 6, exclusively for PlayStation 3.
