GOG games will work with Windows 10 on day one

Most of the games on GOG will work with Windows 10 when it's officially released.

As the release date of Windows 10 nears, many users on GOG were curious if the games they bought will continue to work on Microsoft's newest OS. CD Projekt has penned a blog post to address all concerns.

Things are "looking great," according to the blog post. The company says that it encountered a few problems with some games. Some of these it will resolve and others are likely to be fixed when Windows 10 gets released.

Based on that, some games may need to be patched, though CD Projekt promises that these will be available on GOG and through their Galaxy client. The post added that GOG's QA team is currently testing out all games to ensure that they work on day one.

"This is the smoothest transition to a brand new system that we've ever worked on," the post closed.

Windows 10 is officially out July 29.
