Ubisoft's Gods and Monsters may now be called Immortals: Fenyx Rising

The new name for Gods and Monsters has leaked thanks to new age ratings.

Immortals: Fenyx Rising is a new Ubisoft game that just got rated by the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee. As spotted by Gematsu, the unannounced game has been given an age-12 rating on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.

Though this could be an entirely new game, this is more than likely the new name for Gods and Monsters, the Breath of the Wild-style action game unveiled in a brief trailer back at E3 2019.

Since then, Ubisoft has barely talked about it, but the game popped up back in the news when an early build leaked on Google Stadia. At the time, Ubisoft said that it would be ready to share more about the game at a later time, and announced that it's no longer called Gods and Monsters.

Everyone assumed we'd see and learn more at Ubisoft Forward in July, but that event obviously didn't feature it, along with other anticipated Ubisoft games. The publisher is, of course, hosting another edition of Ubisoft Forward sometime this September, and that's likely where the new name will be made public alongside a fresh look at gameplay.
