God of War tops UK retail chart for the second week running, Nintendo Labo behind Far Cry 5 in third

God of War reigns supreme at the top of the UK retail chart for the second week running, according to analysts GFK Chart-Track. The Nintendo Labo Variety Kit is a new entry at number three, behind the best-selling game of 2018 so far, Far Cry 5.

These figures only include physical sales of games.

Despite being a PS4 exclusive, God of War tops the Top 40 across all platforms.

FIFA 18 charted in fourth position as the Team of the Season events start to kick off in Ultimate team, while Mario Kart 8 Deluxe rounded out the top 5 in a decent week for Nintendo.

Although it was unable to keep pace with the Variety Starter Kit, the more expensive Nintendo Labo Robot Kit managed to claim twentieth position on the chart.
