God of War: All Mountain Collectibles Locations
God of War features some pretty expansive open areas for both Kratos and Atreus to explore, and none of these are bigger than the Mountain. In this guide we'll be detailing how you can find all of the Mountain collectible locations within the game.

All Mountain Collectibles Locations in God of War
Kratos and Atreus will find themselves inside the mountain itself as part of the ‘Inside the Mountain’ quest, funnily enough (and which we've outlined here), and they’ll have to navigate their way through the various dim and dark paths. We’ve divided the collectibles guide just below by the type of items you can uncover while you’re in the mountain, including the mugs as part of the Bottoms Up artifact set, as well as the Idunn Apple and Horn of Blood Mead found within the mountain.
All Bottoms Up Artifact Locations
For the first Bottoms Up artifact inside the mountain, you’ll need to defeat several fire Draugr, which are the first of their kind that you’ll come across inside the mountain. Now look for a wooden door that you can smash through on the right perimeter wall of this area, and you can find the Bottoms Up artifact inside, next to a corpse.
The next Bottoms Up artifact can be found in the Heart of the Mountain area. Once you’ve made it into the area with the massive cart that you need to push back into the main area, you can find the Bottoms Up artifact in a tiny cavern, where the cart originally stood once you’ve moved it.
When you come across a Nightmare that fuses itself with a frost Draugr to create a brand new type of enemy, you’ll know you’re near the next Bottoms Up collectible. Defeat the new enemy, and you’ll then find yourself at a puzzle with a wheel that raises a cage with sap inside.
Once you’ve raised the cage up in the air, you can head to where the cage previously was on the ground, only to find a small cavern now available to explore in the rock. It’s within this cavern that you can find the Bottoms Up collectible artifact.
All Mountain Jotnar Shrine Location
You’ll know you’re near the sole Jotnar Shrine in the Mountain, when you find two frost Draugr praying, with a third, more powerful Draugr standing watch over them, near a raised bridge. You’ll need to kill all the Draugr, then interact with the sap deposit nearby, picking up an orb of sap.
Now backtrack out of this area, and you’ll see a huge red wall of sap on your right. Throw the sap orb onto it, then have Atreus shoot it with a shock arrow to bring the entire wall down. The Jotnar Shrine is found right behind the wall, within its big wooden cabinet.
All Mountain Idunn Apple Locations
Just above, we described the location of the only Jotnar Shrine within the Mountain, and it’s also in this location that you can find the Nornir chest containing the Idunn Apple. You’ll need to destroy the sap wall as we stated above, in order to uncover the first seal jar required to unlock the Nornir chest.
For the next two, you’ll need to lower the raised bridge by throwing sap orbs at the red sap on the bridge, and have Atreus shoot it to explode the entire thing. Once you’re on the bridge, look to your right to see a seal jar buried in the rock wall.
For the final seal jar, use the wheel to raise the bridge part way up, then use the Leviathan Axe to freeze it in place, creating a ramp up to the higher floor for Kratos. Up on this new floor, you can smash the final seal jar, and lower the bridge so you can return to the floor underneath you and claim the Idunn Apple.
All Mountain Horn of Blood Mead Locations
The Nornir chest that contains the Horn of Blood Mead can be found once you’ve fought a Revenant, several Nightmares, and a bunch of fire Draugr, all near a stone bridge above you. You’re going to need to find a wooden board that Kratos can smash by throwing his Leviathan Axe in the same area as the fire Draugr, that Atreus can shoot an arrow at to create a light bridge.
You can now find the Nornir chest up from the light bridge, but you need to be on the stone bridge to the left to complete the puzzle. Look off the left side of the bridge and down, and you can see a contraption that you need to be showing the ‘N’ sign. Then look up and to the right, and you can see a contraption in the distance, which needs to be showing the ‘B’ sign.
Finally, head back to the light bridge and turn left to see the final contraption, which needs to be depicting the ‘R’ symbol. You can now return to the Nornir chest, and open it to obtain a Horn of Blood Mead.
