Ghostrunner demo lands on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch

The game has sold half a million copies since its launch.

A demo for cyberpunk parkour game Ghostrunner has made its debut on console.

Folks on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch can try the title out for free following the demo's launch yesterday (Thursday, February 18). This is the first time that console owners have had the chance to check out Ghostrunner, following two demos launching on PC.

The first of these was available between May 6 and 13 on Steam, while a second launched in September. The game itself was released for PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 27, ahead of the Nintendo Switch version being rolled out on November 10.

PS5 and Xbox Series X/S ports are being released later in 2021.

To date, Ghostrunner has sold half a million copies. The title was developed by One More Level, 3D Realms and Slipgate Ironworks, while All in Games and 505 handled publishing duties.

"Become the Ghostrunner, an agile cybernetic ninja equipped with a deadly katana and grappling hook," reads the press release blurb for the game.
