Ghost Recon: Wildlands PvP mode Ghost War is out in October

The Ghost Recon: Wildlands PvP mode, Ghost War, which recently ended its first open beta, will be released in October.

Ubisoft has announced today that Ghost War will be out October 10, available for free to all players on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The publisher plans to support the mode post-launch, promising new maps, classes, and game modes.

Ghost War is a 4v4, class-based mode that features eight maps, and 12 distinct classes. Each class comes with its own perks and weapon loadout, and some are immune to certain mechanics like suppression. The trailer below shows off the abilities of three classes: Assassin, Sentinel, Diversionist.

The open beta ran from September 21-25, and the mode has been a long time coming. It was first talked about before Wildlands launched, with Ubisoft promising a release later this year. Next month falls within that window, but it may be too late still.
