The Special Edition of the 2013 Shadow Warrior remake is available now for free, for a limited time.

The Humble Store is the one giving it away, as part of the site's seemingly regular promos.

Shadow Warrior: Special Edition includes the full game, the official soundtrack, a digital artbook, and two in-game items: the Serious Sam 3 sledgehammer, and the Hotline Miami katana. The is a remake of the classic 90s shooter, and was fairly well received at launch.

The gameplay is very rooted in classic shooter tropes, with big levels and a focus on first-person action. The remake's many likeable features include an impressive melee system, which can be as deep as you're willing to invest into it. All of this is wrapped around a goofy story. It's a good time.
