Gears of War 4 developer The Coalition has confirmed that the game will render at 1080p resolution on Xbox One. Frame-rate, however, will differ depending on what you're playing.

For single-player, it will be 30fps, the same frame-rate all the previous games ran at. For multiplayer, the developer is taking the same approach they did with Ultimate Edition, bringing it up to a solid 60 frames-per-second.

Studio head Rod Fergusson told Game Informer this as part of the magazine's latest cover story about the game.

When asked about whether or not we'll be seeing the game on PC, Fergusson answered "possibly."

Gears of War 4 will be out this fall. A multiplayer beta is scheduled for this spring.
