Gearbox gives out free Borderlands 2 codes, demands oath of loyalty

Gearbox Software awarded over 900 attendees of its PAX panel a download code for a free copy of Borderlands 2, courtesy of 2K Games.

Having announced this extremely generous offer, Gearbox then required the whole room to swear an oath.

Kotaku was in attendance and filmed the proceedings, a somewhat spooky chorus of nearly 1,000 people promising to love and respect both companies forever and ever. Hit the link to watch it in full.

Borderlands 2 is expected in 2012, on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
