GDC Europe: Cage to discuss using virtual actors in next-gen, to show exclusive The Dark Sorcerer footage

GDC Europe 2013 organizers have announced Quantic Dream's David Cage will discuss the studio's actor capturing techniques for next-gen.

Cage will cover the visual arts techniques used in The Dark Sorcerer and Beyond: Shooting, and his talk will go over everything needed for using virtual actors in next-gen titles, and will be demonstrated with exclusive footage from The Dark Sorcerer.

Ubisoft will also provide a talk on User Experience development methods. It will be presented by Settlers 7 lead level designer and games lab manager at Ubisoft Blue Byte, Jochen Peketz

More talks will be revealed throughout the weeks leading up the conference.

GDC Europe takes place August 19-21 at the Cologne Congress-Centrum Ost in Cologne, Germany during Gamescom.
