Gas Powered Games re-branded as Wargaming Seattle

Gas Powered Games has been re-branded by new owner Wargaming as Wargaming Seattle. The move has seen some released staff members rehired by the studio.
Games.On.Net reports that the “Wargaming Seattle” is still tentativem and that the team's first game has been described as a free-to-play MMO with PvP elements. Studio head Chris Taylor has deemed it to be a triple-a release.
The studio has also rehired more than 20 staff, bringing the head-count back up to 30. It follows the near-collapse of the studio following its failed Wildman Kickstarter campaign.
