GameStop handing out Mark V Flaming Helmet with Halo: Reach Noble Map Pack pre-order

That's right. A Mark V Flaming Helmet for your XBL Avatar.

GameStop wants you to pre-order the Noble Map Pack for Halo: Reach from its stores, and to sweeten the deal, it's handing out the flaming head accessory as an incentive.

In order to get the helmet, you also have to be a PowerUp Rewards member, which is free. To become a member, you have to visit your local GameStop and provide your name, email address and proof of age to the store associate and you'll be handed a membership card. An email will then be sent to you, prompting you to activate your PowerUp Rewards account.

Then, on November 30, you’ll receive an email alert that the Noble Map Pack DLC code has been delivered securely to the "Downloads and Add-ons" area of your PowerUp Rewards account. This email alert will also include your Flaming Helmet avatar code so you can input it into XBL.

The retailer started offering DLC for sale in its stores a while back.

The Noble Map Pack releases on November 30, will add three new maps – Anchor 9, Tempest and Breakpoint – and will run you 800 MSP through XBL or $9.99 through GameStop.
