Gameloft Q3 financials: €61.7 million revenue record, €171.0 million for year so far

Gameloft has posted its third-quarter financials, highlighting record quarterly revenue of €61.7 million. More figures inside.

In a press release sent to VG247 today, Gameloft confirmed that it saw a record-breaking €61.7 million in revenue for the three-month period ended September 30, 2013. That's a year-on-year increase of 11%. On a constant-exchange-rate basis, Gameloft's third-quarter growth was 17%.

Of that sum, the EMEA region represented 31% of Gameloft's Q3 sales, while North America made up 32%, LATAM contributed 20%, and APAC amassed 16%.

Gameloft's first nine month revenue now sits at €171.0 million.

The company attributes this growth to a 31% year on year increase in smartphone and tablet game sales, and a free-to-play model that the company claims saw 140 million people play its titles in the last 30 days.

Full-year sales projections now sit at between €235 million and €240 million.
