GAME and GameStation selling PC Portal 2 early in-store

After Portal 2's scheduled release date of April 21 was blown open by Valve and its Potato Sack, UK specialist retailers GAME and GameStation have followed suit in-store.

Eurogamer reports that the move comes with publisher EA's blessing and is a "market reaction" to Valve's decision to sell it's eagerly anticipated sequel early.

The game is only available early on PC, however. PS3 and 360 owners will have to wait for the official release tomorrow to see what all the fuss is about.

The critical reaction to Portal 2 has been really rather positive. A round up of reviews from all over the place can be found here.
