Future Mass Effect 3 multiplayer events to be fortnightly

Mass Effect 3's popular Operations will be skipping every other weekend from here on in.

The BioWare Blog explains the change in schedule as an opportunity to "create and execute the best possible Operations for the community".

Mass Effect 3 has hosted an Operation nearly every weekend since launch, offering XP boosts and reward packages for those who meet specified conditions; most recently, participants were awarded one of the new classes from the Resurgence DLC.

The next event is Operation Exorcist, and will run from April 27 through 29 on PC and Xbox 360. Sony and BioWare are negotiating on bringing Operations to PlayStation 3 players.
