Trine dev's Shadwen gets release date, gloomy new trailer

Shadwen, the next game from Trine developer Frozenbyte, has a release date.

Trine developer Frozenbyte has announced that Shadwen, the studio's stealth action game, will be released in May on PC and PlayStation 4.

You may remember Shadwen as the game that got its price reduced every time people played the demo.

In Shadwen, the only goal is to never get detected. If you do, it's game over. To make things more sensible, Shadwen offers a time-rewind mechanic to save you when you make bad moves.

The game also borrows the 'time only moves when you do' trick from Superhot, and it has the same beautiful art design you'd expect from Frozenbyte.
