Friday the 13th, Laser League lead PlayStation Plus October line-up

PlayStation Plus is gearing up for Halloween this month, with the multiplayer-focused Friday the 13th leading the pack.

October is just around the corner, and with it a proper Fall season - complete with Halloween. So it's no surprise that Friday the 13th is the one of this month's major free games on PlayStation Plus. And if horror isn't your thing, you can pick up 505 Games' Laser League. (Thanks Eurogamer.)

Friday the 13th is a multiplayer game based on the horror movie series of the same name. You can either play as one of seven teenage camp counselors trying to survive, or the maniacal killer Jason Voorhees. As Jason, you'll have access supernatural abilities, while the counselors must use teamwork and improvised tools to survive the night.

Laser League, meanwhile, is a futuristic arena sports game where teams try to control of key laser points - and eliminate opponents in the process. It comes to us courtesy of Roll7, the developer behind the OlliOlli series.
