Capcom is bringing its Resident Evil 7 escape experience to London’s East End later this month.

Resident Evil 7: The Experience features a storyline inspired by Resident Evil 7 and will be a 45-minute immersive experience set in a haunted and dilapidated venue.

Participants will role-play as an investigative journalist intern working for a paranormal TV production team. They are tasked with investigating the disappearance of crew members who never returned from the house.

The escape experience features various puzzles and clues along with some "unexpected interruptions" and folks will need to work together to conquer visible and unseen obstacles. And of course, escape.

Resident Evil 7: The Experience, which made a stop in LA back in October, will take place January 20-23 from 1pm-10pm and will be free on a first-come basis. That's pretty great, considering it cost folks $35 to attend in LA.

Those who get in will be able to go through the experience in pairs and play a demo version of Resident Evil 7 ahead of release. Tickets are limited, so be sure to visit the experience's dedicated website to find out how to enter.

The location is "a secret" so participants will need to head over to the Sewer Gators debrief area at Dray Walk Gallery, located at 91 Brick Ln, London E1 6QL. You will need to be there by 11.30am on the day you wish to participate.

Resident Evil 7 will be released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One January 24.
