American Truck Simulator is having a moment, and there's no reason for you to miss out.

A game about driving vehicles long distance may not sound exciting, but there are enough gamers out there with the romance of the open road in their hearts that American Truck Simulator is generating a heck of a lot of buzz.

The jolly thing about it is that you can enjoy the gorgeous scenery and the zen of coasting along listening to your favourite tunes, without having to stuff No-Doz up your sinuses in an attempt to meet impossible targets. Also, when some shithead runs you off the road, you are not engulfed in a fireball and air lifted to the nearest experimental burns treatment centre. You still have to park the damn things, though.
