Fractured Lands is the Mad Max-esque battle royale game you didn’t know you wanted
Coming to Steam Early Access this summer, Fractured Lands is a battle royale game with vehicular combat as well as on-foot action, from Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Medal of Honor veterans.
As the genre dictates, there is a storm pushing players together, but your car is just as important as your guns here. You need to find parts to ram, shunt, and shoot your opponents, and you need to keep it fed with fuel.
It’s Mad Max in all but name, to the point where the developers even refer to players as ‘road warriors’. Here’s a trailer:
“Fractured Lands is an experience that epitomises our passion for this genre but also exemplifies both our experience in developing some of the best shooters in the world and our craving for something innovative, intense, and gritty,” Unbroken Studios CEO Paul Ohanian said.
“We’ve got so much on the horizon in terms of new content and features, including other last one standing modes, but most of all we’re excited to have gamers join the beta and directly impact our development.”
A closed beta for Fractured Lands is slated for the weekends of June 8, June 22, and June 29. You can register on the official website.
