Microsoft and Turn 10 Studioshave announced Forza Racing Championship 2018 (ForzaRC 2018).
Built on Forza Motorsport 7, the company is calling upon all skill levels to compete for part of a rather nice $250,000 in total prizes.
Starting today, drivers can register at the official ForzaRC website to compete in the first ranked season of global competition, which kicks off April 2.
In advance of the official start, the ForzaRC 2018 Pre-Season Invitational will be held on March 24 in Seattle, WA. Turn 10 has invited some of the "best drivers and teams in the world" to the studio to "compete and set the stage for a season of exhilarating races." More details on that will be shared in March.
Following the Pre-Season Invitational, the regular season begins and will be split into two series. Each will feature seven weeks of ranked events leading up to a live playoff event with a prize pool of $75,000.
At the end of the two series, the top 24 drivers will be invited to compete in the Forza Racing World Championship 2018 for $100,000 prize pool and the title.
