Forza Horizon 4 expansion Fortune Island announced for December

Forza Horizon 4 players are getting some new DLC in December with the release of Fortune Island.

Fortune Island was announced as the first expansion to Forza Horizon 4 today during the Xbox Fanfest: X018 live presentation.

The expansion is set on the remote northern reaches of the British Isles, and features extreme conditions such as lightning storms.

Players will need to be careful as race around on cliffside dirt roads, and mountain switchbacks in search of hidden treasure.

It will be made available as part of the $34.99 Forza Horizon 4 Expansions Bundle, and at no cost to owners of the Ultimate Edition or the Ultimate Add-ons Bundle.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers, who do not already own one of the bundles, can take advantage of 10% off a bundle or 10% off Fortune Island.

Forza Horizon 4 players will also be able to drive all five of Ken Block’s custom-built Ford vehicles from the upcoming GymkhanaTEN, the 10th installment of the Gymkhana viral video franchise.

These vehicles started rolling out earlier this month for Car Pass members with 1977 Ford GymkhanaTEN, F-150 Hoonitruck and the 1993 Ford Escort Cosworth Group A.

Coming in November for all players are the 1965 Ford Hoonicorn Mustang V2 and the 2017 Ford Fiesta RS. In December, the 2016 Ford GymkhanaTEN Focus RS RX will be made available.

Forza Horizon 4: Fortune Island  releases December 13 on Windows 10 PC and Xbox One.
