Forza Horizon 3: Car Bar Finds Visual Guide - where to get all Barn Finds

One of my favourite things to do in racing games is make use of classic cars. The latest and greatest vehicular masterpieces are of course pretty exciting to digitally drive, but there's something about a classic sports car from several decades ago that scratches a particularly satisfying itch for me. Forza Horizon 3 has a lot of those, but many of the best are hidden away across its sprawling Australia-based map.

These are barn finds, cars that have tragically been left to rot in various... well, barns across the world. Occasionally Warren, your resident car expert, will alert you to where one can be found, but he'll only show you a broad area. If you're struggling to track down the exact barn location, we've got you covered with maps, screenshots and descriptions of where to find all of the barn find classic cars below. Once you find them, Warren will set to work restoring them so you can drive these iconic classics.

It appears that something of the barn finds is random - we've heard of people getting them in a different order to us, but we'll present them here in the order they appeared to us. Be sure to search for the car name. We'll update this page as we get closer to unlocking all 15 barn finds with their locations.

Barn Find #1: Ferrari Dino 246 GT

This classic Italian sports masterpiece is the first that Warren will alert you to, and can be found among farm land and green fields to the east of the area marked on the map as the 'Dry Reservoir'. When you're given the circle by the game indicating where the Barn Find is on the map, broadly speaking this building is slap bang in the middle of that circle - this one is, in truth, a little bit easier thanks to that. See the images below!

Barn Find #2: Ford Super Deluxe Station Wagon

I love these damn cars, with their incredible wood panelling thing going on on the outside. It's a 1946 classic, and can be found rotting away to the East of the Maroondah Reservoir and to the North of the area marked as the Rainforest. The barn can be found on the West side of the hint circle, and you can find the exact position of it shown on the map and the screenshots below.

Barn Find #3: Jaguar MK II 3.8

This 1959 beast from the Classic Racers category is a Rank D car by modern standards, but it lets you cruise around those classic car focused events with some serious style. This barn can be found just north and a tiny bit to the West of the Twelve Apostles coast line in a heavily forested area. It's located in the northern side of the game's hint circle, but you can find the exact location below.

Barn Find #4: Meyers Manx

Of all the barn finds this one might be most useful for some of the landscapes of Forza Horizon 3's vision of Australia - it's a classic 1971 buggy, and so is ideal for when you're out in the middle of nowhere. It's appropriately found out by the beach, just West of the Silver Sands Shipwrecks.

Barn Find #5: Holden 50-2106 FX UTE

This particularly rare gem can be found slightly to the north east of the Parkes Satellite array in the topmost area of the map. The actual barn is located quite a way off-center within the hint circle, far across to the right hand side of the circle the game gives you - but you can see its precise location marked in the images below.

Barn Find #6: Maserati A6GCS/53 Pininfarina Berlinetta

This gorgeous Maserati from the Rare Classics car category can be found just to the south of the map marking for the Kiewa Valley. It's in a relatively open area and so should be relatively easy to spot, but if you're struggling check the images below for a helping hand.

Barn Find #7: Ferrari 166MM Barchetta

This 1948 classic has a wonderful sense of style about it and fits appropriately into the Classic Racers category of car in-game. It can be found sandwiched between the Westpoint Tower and Parkes Satellite Array on the map - West of the former and East of the latter. You can see its location in detail in the images below.

Barn Find #8: Reliant Supervan III

The reliant is probably most famous for its starring role in a major British comedy series and its infamous segment on Top Gear, but these three-wheeled bangers are really a classic for all the wrong reasons. It can be found to the East of the redstone airport and directly above the text on the map that says 'Dry Reservoir'. It's ever so slightly to the south of the hint circle the game gives you. Pictures coming soon.

Barn Find #9: Lamborghini LM 002

When you think Lamborghini, you tend to think sports super cars - but this one is a little different, and is in fact the first ever four-wheel drive car produced by Lambo. It can be found just to the north of the beach area where the shipwrecks are. When the circle pops, you'll find it to the left of the center of the circle. Pictures coming soon.

Barn Find #10: Ford XB Falcon GT

This classic American Muscle racer is found out in the desert. This is just to the East and ever so slightly North of the outback Horizon Festival location, surprisingly close to civilization. In fact, you'll probably have driven past this barn before cross-country, and at speed. When the game pops the hint circle, you'll find this racer in the top half of the circle. Pictures coming soon.

Barn Find #11: Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec

This one is harder to pinpoint using landmarks on the map, but it's sandwiched in between the forested area between the map text for The Twelve Apostles and the Rainforest. Get to the middle point before these two and then head a little south. There you'll find a clearing within the heavily forested area, and it's there you'll find this barn tucked away with this Japanese classic inside. Pictures coming soon.

Barn Find #12: Holden HQ Monaro GTS 350

This find can be found to the West of the map text for the Dry Reservoir and immediately south of the left hand side of the Redstone Airport. It sits on the edge of the outback; right as the red turns to green on the map, that's where this barn is found. When the hint circle pops, you'll find the barn surrounded by other structures in the southern half of the circle.

Barn Find #13: Toyota FJ40

This is another desert find, and unlike a few of the others this is well and truly off the beaten path. From the outback horizon festival location you'll want to head straight north. A little to the West you'll find the edge of the map, and this barn find is hugging that edge, just off to the east of the lakes on the map. It's at the very north of the hint circle that appears.

Barn Find #14: Dodge Charger Daytona Hemi

This isn't the most iconic of the Dodge Charger designs, but that's what makes it a bit of a rarer gem. Find the redstone gold mine on the map. You'll see to the South West there's a river that cuts across the map - this barn find is found in between the mine and the river, far to the West of the main road. There's a dirt road that leads you right out to this one, so just follow that.

Barn Find #15: Holden Sandman HQ Panel Van

Far South of the map marker for the rainforest and about two thirds of the way to Byron Bay you'll find this barn, which holds a crazy Australian pick up truck. The barn is flanked by tall trees, so drive slowly in your search so you don't zip past it. When the hint circle pops, you'll find it in the bottom-right quarter of the circle. Pictures coming soon.
