While you wait for Forza 7 to download, maybe check out all the car and Drivatar customisation options

Forza 7 is unlocks at midnight for Ultimate Edition owners, and there's a lot of excitement in the air.

Assuming you're not struggling with the mess that is the Forza 7 pre-load on PC, you're likely looking forward to spending a few hours playing it this weekend. Even still, 100GB is a lot, so you're likely be leaving your PC on for a while.

With every new Forza game, you can always expect a host of customisation options for the cars. Whether it be visual like different paint styles, and body kits, or actual tuning changes for the different parts of the car. This year, Turn 10 added customisation for you own avatar - well, Drivatar - as well.

This comes in the form of gear you earn in loot crates. The gear adds a visual flare to your avatar, which you can now also see at the start of the race, and during the race in open-top cars.

The gear is split between different categories, but it all pretty much boils down to a different racing suit. Some of them look pretty hilarious, though, or downright gaudy. Watch the video below from Arekkz for a look at all available options at launch.

He even managed to open one of those loot crates in the video, and I have to say, the animation is not exciting.

Forza 7 is out October 3 on PC, and Xbox One. Ultimate Edition owners get access on September 29.
