Forza 5 DirectX 12 tech demo shows off PC race footage - watch

Forza Motorsport 5 was uses as a showcase for DirectX 12 at GDC last week, and footage of Microsoft's presentation has emerged online.

The clip shows Turn 10 software architect Chris Tector discussing the DirectX 12 demo, which ran at 1080p and 60 frames-per-second. The API is said to be less processor-intensive than alternatives, leaving more power for developers to use elsewhere.
