Fortnite's v6.21 patch delayed until tomorrow

Fortnite's big v6.21 patch was supposed to release today as per schedule, but Epic Games has pushed it back.

Epic blamed the delay on a "last minute issue" discovered in update v6.21's build, though it didn't provide a specific time for tomorrow's launch like it initially did.

Fortnite players will just have to wait one more day. Among the new features coming with v6.21 are balloons. These were advertised through the in-game message of the day last week.

Balloons, according to the item description, let you float above the ground. The more of them you have the higher you'll go. Seems pretty straightforward, though it does sound like a weaker alternative to the jetpack; but we'll have to wait and see how it actually works in the game.

As always, of course, tomorrow's patch will also launch with a host of new cosmetics, some of which won't be made available until a few days later.

Until then, you may want to catch up on last week's Season 6 Week 5 challenges, but we also have separate pages for the most notorious like where to find the radar signs, and the flaming hoop locations.
