Fortnite Nexus event may let players vote on which vaulted weapon to bring back to the game

Dataminers have discovered that once all of the runes at Loot Lake are activated, players will be transported to the Nexus to vote to unvault old weapons.

Fortnite Season 8 is drawing to a close and once the volcano erupts it looks like players will be sent to the Nexus where they'll be able to vote on one of six vaulted weapons to potentially bring back to the game. The last time players were sent to this dimension was during the butterfly event.

One of the monitors in the lab at Loot Lake is already displaying the Drum Gun which was vaulted in update v5.40, and a chalkboard in the room makes a reference to the vault.

A number of Fortnite dataminers have stated that the remaining items that will be eligible for a vote include the Bouncer, Grappler, Plane, Infinity Blade, and the Tactical SMG.

YouTuber Happy Power gives an overview of the details collected by the community, as well as including footage of what the weapons in the vault will look like.

Some of these weapons made a reappearance in Fortnite's Unvaulted LTM last year, while the Infinity Blade got a second wind back in February in the Sword Fight LTM.

Once the volcano explodes, expect Tilted Towers and Retail Row to get trashed.
