Fortnite makes $2 million per day on mobile - report

Following the launch of Fortnite's Season 5, the game's daily revenue on mobile has shot up a few notches.

According to a new report by Sensor Tower, Fortnite used to make an average of $1.2 million a day back when it launched.

This continue right up until the end of the game's fourth season. During the first ten days of Season 5, the currently active season, this figure climbed to $2 million. Compared to the first ten days of Season 4, this is a 19% increase ($1.7M).

But that's not all, the first day in the new season, July 13, was the game's highest ever as far as revenue on mobile. Around $3 million were spent on mobile that day.

Sensor Tower estimates players have spent over $150 million on the mobile version alone. Fortnite is currently only available on iOS, of course, with an Android version on the way, making these numbers more impressive.

Fortnite continues to get new content and in-game events, which is partially why people keep logging back in. Just this week, with the release of patch v5.10, the game got a new weapon, new challenges, and a few gameplay changes.

Patch v5.10 has been datamined to reveal other upcoming items like the sniper rifle that can shoot through walls, to say nothing of the skins and emotes.
