Former Visceral staffer to lead new Crystal Dynamics team

Producer Scot Amos has joined Crystal Dynamics. From Isaac Clarke to Lara Croft? Not quite - it looks like the Tomb Raider developer wants fresh blood for new IP.

Gamasutra reports Amos will put together a second core team within Crystal Dynamics to focus on its latest, unrevealed project - the first team are busy with the Tomb Raider revamp, of course.

Amos most recently held a position as executive producer to the EA-owned Visceral Games. Visceral's most notable recent works include Dead Space and Dante's Inferno.

Prior to that, the producer worked with Maxis on The Sims series.

Both Visceral and Crystal Dynamics are based in Redwood, California. Not far to walk with your box of desk detritus, then.
