For some reason you can't buy Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC on Steam any more - unless you get the Season Pass

Call of Duty fans on PC now have two choices when it comes to Black Ops 3 DLC: all or nothing.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 received its third DLC pack on PC and Xbox One last week, catching it up with the PS4 build - but that wasn't the only update to the Steam release.

For some reason, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC listings have been removed from Steam, and the only way to pick up Descent, as well as its forerunners Eclipse and Awakening, is to purchase the Season Pass.

This seems a bit odd, but it's deliberate; this notice appears at the bottom of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Season Pass Steam page, just below the system requirements:

Individual DLC map packs can no longer be purchased separately on PC. You must purchase Season Pass in order to obtain DLC map packs.

It's a bit of a nuisance if you didn't want the whole set, but there is some good news - if you've already purchased one or more packs, you won't have to pay full price for the Season Pass. Assuming you're logged into Steam, you'll receive a coupon for a discount on the Call of Duty Blacks Op 3 Season Pass after adding it to your cart.

There's still one more map pack to come before Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is done with us, and the fourth pack will also be included in the Season Pass. The individual map packs are still available piecemeal via the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.
