Foosball 2012 coming to PS3 and Vita with cross-platform play

One Epic Games developer Grip Game has announced a table football sim for release this year. No, really. Have a look at the trailer.

As detailed on the EU PS Blog, Foosball 2012 has cross-platform platform play and save sharing between the PlayStation 3 and Vita versions. Buying one version entitles you to the other, too. It controls with the analog sticks on both systems, but you can also use Move on PS3 and touch screen on Vita.

Both European and American style tables are included, as well as customisation of some kind. A World Tour mode with 30 locations serves as the single-player campaign, but there's also adhoc multiplayer for up to four players and an online championship mode.

Expect Foosball 2012 at the end of northern spring.
