Flame Red 3DS being discontinued per Nintendo Japan

Nintendo will no longer produce the Flame Red model of 3DS, Nintendo Japan has announced. The color launched in Japan in July 2011 and North America in September the same year. The color was introduced following the launch colors Cosmo Black and Aqua Blue. Both of these colors have since been discontinued as well. Via Kotaku.
