Siliconera cites an anonymous source for news tTellTale's adapatation of The Walking Dead will run for five chapters.

The forthcoming episodes will apparently be called Starved for Help, The Long Road Ahead, Around Every Corner, and No Time Left. The site also hints that these five episodes constitute just the first season.

In more concrete news, Telltale CEO Dan Connors said the game will feature action, but it won't be the central focus.

"We’ll rarely give you a level where you blast through and have a horde of zombies attacking. It’s more like the franchise itself where people don’t usually go on zombie killing sprees, but you do have to take out zombies in different contexts," he said.

"In one of the scenes, there is a character stuck in a motel room. They’ve boarded themselves in and there are six or seven zombies on the scene. You need to stealthily go around and take out each zombie before the other zombies recognize there. That would be a situation where we would use a stealth and attack mechanic."

The Walking Dead is a popular comic series which has spawned a high-rating but much criticised TV series. There's a social game in the works in addition to Telltale's effort, which goes on sale in early April for iOS, Mac, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
