First Star Trek Online screenshots released

Cryptic just released the first screens of Star Trek Online. The company also confirmed the game for a console release this morning, although failed to specify formats.

As you can see in the screens after the break, it looks as though away teams are going to get plenty of planetary action from the look of it, with detailed world surfaces getting equal billing to space environments.
