First set of screens released for Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II

Screenshots for Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II have popped up on XBL Marketplace, showing Sonic and Tails doing what they do best. You can look them over in the gallery below the break. Episode II takes place following the events of Episode I, where Metal Sonic has returned to form an alliance with Dr. Eggman, and Sonic and Tails must team up and race four new Zones in order to put an end to their evil plans. Players will be able to play co-op online or locally. Still no date, but hopefully SEGA will provide a release window not that new shots have been released. It's out sometime this year at any rate, for XBL, PSN, iOS, and Android. Thanks, Reddit.
