The Oculus Rift officially launches March 28. If you were lucky enough to secure an early unit, you should see it at your doorstep very soon.

Oculus CEO Brendan Iribe revealed on Twitter earlier that the consumer version of the Rift is now shipping. Deliveries begin Monday, March 28, so there's a good chance early adopters will be talking about the VR headset starting next week.

Iribe posted this image along with the announcement, showing the retail box of the Rift.

A lot of those who pre-ordered will of course be receiving the headset different dates, going as far as June in some cases.
